it feels good to have kept a promise made 6 months ago.

i kept my promise.:)

it finally rained today. i could have walked in the shade but i chose to walk home in the rain. with an umbrella of course. the gentle pitter-patter of the raindrops, the cool cool breeze, the carassing wind, oh it was one of the loveliest walk home where i soaked in every minute of it.

and have i mentioned that i love walking down orchard road? cos i do. i really enjoy taking a slow walk down the streets of lights and sounds. i love the atmosphere, i love strolling down with friends, i love soaking in the atmosphere, i love stopping as and when to get a chocolate milkshake or admire the items on the pushcart. but i love it even more when Christmas comes because i get to see many Santas along the way and see the fairy tales in storybooks come to life. when the trumpets play and the carpets unroll, the hats are worn and bells are rung. i love walking down at Christmas. and as someone told me once, i hope it snows.
