tuesdays.

i can't wait for this sem to be over so we can kiss speeching goodbye.

yesterday's speech tutorial reminded me of Speech and Drama classes a long time ago. we practised our pronunciations of vowels and the like. then we had to say "bit" and "beat" individually so the tutor could tell us if we were saying it the right way. After we had our turns and the tutor went on to the rest of the class, Tang the Shang wittingly came up with the perfect example to illustrate the importance of pronunciation.

"i love you with the beat of my heart"
vs
"i love you with the bit of my heart".

hahaha! to all, v-day is coming soon. so if you're planning to use one of the above sentences, make sure you get your pronunciation correct if not the consequences can be very undesirable!

later we had to go one by one again and say the sentence "thirty three thin tin trees". as usual, after we had our turns, another witty idea came up. what if it's spoken in chinese??

san shi san ke shou shou de shu.

that's a tongue twister as well! haha we had such fun fooling around, trying cantonese and hokkien and other languages, the tutor had to turn to us to quieten us down so many times. ;)

when the lesson ended, Tang the Shang shared with us ways to pick up a girl. hahaha. guys, if you're interested, ask me. this is valuable information here!

ending off with one,
didn't your mother teach you to hold hands while crossing the road?!

ok i am stressed and i'm going to study for my quiz now.
