this morning i was at the bus stop waiting for a bus to the mrt station. i can take 2 buses from there, one yellow bus and a red one. so i was standing and staring in the direction the traffic was coming from. staring staring staring... when i spotted the yellow bus travelling towards the bus stop. i boarded the bus, settled down, and looked forward. the bus had stopped at a traffic light, and infront of the yellow bus i was in, was another bus. a red bus. THE red bus. yes, the red bus that comes along the same bus stop as the yellow one, but somehow i didn't notice at all! technically since the red bus arrived before the yellow one, i would have boarded the red one, no?

i still can't figure it out. there was no way i would have missed a big red bus passing by the bus stop because well, it's big and red. AND i was looking at the oncoming traffic the whole time to see if any buses were coming! i'm really bewildered. i have no idea what happened. even if i was stoning, i'm sure i'd have snapped out of my daze at some point when a big red bus drove pass. gee i really have no idea.

oh, and another one. on my way back i was in the train, and i was sleeping most of the way. i was going to stop at Eunos. i remember hearing the train approaching the station Paya Lebar, opening my eyes, then closing them again while waiting for the next station (Eunos) to come up. but when i opened my eyes again i was at Kembangan. if you're not an eastie and you don't get it, well, i missed the station Eunos (inbetween Paya Lebar and Kembangan) and i didn't even know it. i don't even remember hearing the announcement for Eunos. i couldn't have fallen into such deep sleep when the train was at Paya Lebar, that i did not hear the Eunos annoucement 3 minutes later right? gosh! i have no idea what's up with me today. weird things keep happening and i can't figure it all out.

i strangely think it's got something to do with what i'm reading. i've been on the book The Time Traveller's Wife , about a guy who disappears suddenly because he time travels to another time period of his life.

hm. how bizarre.

on another note, the outdoor shoot for IT tutorial today was hilarious. it was so embarrassing, so crazy, but so fun. we pretended we were filming Lost in ntu, running out from behind trees and staring in amazement at civilisation and buses. it was madness! ;)
