i love walking around the campus not knowing who you'll bump into next. that's my daily dose of excitement. this week the coincidences happened far too many times it almost seemed planned. sitting in the shuttle bus i would spot people in the other bus driving pass from the opposite direction. it was like a cross between The Truman Show and Turn Left Turn Right - as though i was living out a directed script in the latter movie. but it was all fun. the childish calls to excitedly tell "hey you just passed me on the shuttle bus!" and the routine sms-es of "hey i'm late, reserve a seat for me! which row which side?" make school all the more. :)
this first week has been fun. well partly because there wasn't much school to start off with. :D work is coming in, but i'd like to think that it's gonna be an exciting sem cos we have exciting assignments like... telling Aesop's Fables in class for speech and presentation!!! whoopeedoo!! seriously, i'm really really really amused at that. i actually think it's quite fun. hahahaha. :D
and we have an amusing lecturer! one who gets her daily workout during lectures. she scores full marks and beyond on nonverbal communication: kinesics. haha.
today was a funny day. midi and bangkok went on a little excursion to kill time, and had quite an adventure. that includes them getting on the shuttle bus and not knowing it was the wrong one. they were on the bus that goes in loops around the same area - they didn't realise until it struck them that they were seeing the same things far too many times.
so when the three of us finally met up we went to bangkok's hall. midi and bangkok watched whose line is it anyway, while i tried to sleep with them roaring (literally) with laugher beside me. so to cut the long story short, lecture started at 3.30 and we left for lecture at 3.35 after their show and my nap. ho ho ho. but it was a 3 hour lecture, so being 15 minutes late is actually quite insignificant right??
and because i unfortunately missed the show while i was sleeping, midi and i watched it on her laptop again in the train back after school. we each had one side of the ear plugs. watching the show on her laptop was waaaaay cooler than watching tv mobile la!!! hahaha. :D the show was super funny!!!! and because i had ear plugs on, i didn't realise i was laughing that loud in the train. it was my turn to roar with laughter! midi had to constantly poke me to quieten down.
hahaha HILARIOUS. ;)
